Router Blocking Kazaa Lite Traffic?

whenever i hook the pc up thru a router, i can hardly find any sourcse to download files from, although i can see them all when i search for files.

when i hook the pc up directly to the cable modem, i get all the sourcse, and a download at a high rate.

what's the router doing??

the router doesnt have a built in firewall, and the router is a dlink di-604

i use winxp pro w/ kazaa lite

Make sure your allowing IP and UDP traffic to port 1214.

Your router is probably set up to do NATing.

Go <a href="http://www.dlink.com/products/broadband/di604/firewallFeatures.htm">here</a> to learn about the firewall features of the dlink router you are asking about.
