Program to monitor download/upload for the month?
I've signed up for the fastest cable internet right now. They've told me that it's a 50gb limit per month for upload and download. Sounds kind of low but I'm going to see what happens. Is there anything I can run that logs the amount of internet use I have over the month?

For Windows, I use <a href="http://www.jitserv.coolfreepage.com/index2.htm">Down2Home</a>. It does the job. Nothing fancy, but keeps logs for as long as you want and can export them.

nice program, I just installed it. What about testing my bandwidth speed? Supposedly it's a 5mbps connection. I'm wondering how I can check if I'm getting the full deal.

Not too sure, but I think <a href="http://www.broadbandreports.com/">BBReports</a> has services like this. Worth exploring.

I like BroadbandReports.com for speed tests. They give you up and down and the results are at least precise if not accurate (they seem to be accurate though).
