Price estimate for my laptop
Hi,
I want to sell my laptop and need to find out how much it is worth. It is a HP Pavillon zv5000 (the receipt says zv5220us) which I bought in August 2004. AMD Athlon XP Processor 3000+ 798 MHz (says System Control, don't know what it means) 512 MB RAM Nvidia GeForce 4 32 M 60 GB HD The closest one I saw on ebay was a zv5320us that was listed as "buy now" for $ 839 I paied $1200 but got a $200 mail in rebate. Could you give me some numbers or maybe a website where I can calculate this out? I appreciate your help!

I own the Compaq version of your laptop. I have the exact same items that you do and I bought mine for the same amount. I use this thing every day for work and home and it is fast. As far as the System Control: The processor is capable of reaching speeds of 1800 MHz but will only do so when it is needed. Mine drops down to 383MHz sometimes. I would try and get top dollar for your laptop as they are fast! I would say around 600 to 800. Keep looking at ebay. Keep in mind that the zv5000 series are basically all the same so that one that you saw on ebay is about the right price you should be asking for. Just watch it and see what it does.

I reckon... 900 or so. But zizdog69 is right, watch the auction and see how it goes.
