Need help - "Scheduling" how can i learn about it
I am applying for a job and they require someone with experience about scheduling. its for a radio network, how would i overcome this.....can anyone inform me of the major things a scheduler does and is there any online sites as such giving details...

The "Programming" we are doing here is not quite the same as the "Programming" that is done on a radio station.
From when I was working at a radio station, there were two people in charge of "scheduling" out what happened on the show: The music director, who used a program that knew various things about the songs and would generate a mostly random playlist. The other guy worked in "traffic" and scheduled all the commercials on the air. These two people never talked to each other, they would just send their files up to someone, and that person would use the merge tool to generate a full-on programming schedule. You would probably get better responses in Tilted General or something like that, you might want to ask a mod to move this to there. |
