Outlook 2003
What is that foreign language that shows up on the first day of each month in my calendar? How do I get rid of it? I thought I uninstalled all the languages except english, but it still does this...
I run XP Pro on a compaq nx7010. Thanks! Also, do you guys like using "clear type" for font viewing or do you use the normal setting?

Looks like Arabic, no idea why it is there. You must have installed some language pack for a web site, but why it would affect outlook, I don't know. The only thing I can think to do is uninstall outlook and reinstall. I use clear text.

Try right clicking the day and selecting other settings, and see if you might have changed one of the fonts from western to arabic or something similar by accident

Check your "Alternate Calendar" settings....
I noticed that you have the Alternate Calendar enabled. It might be as easy as just shutting that off, provided you dont need to use it.
Go to TOOLS -> OPTIONS on the menu bar. On the first tab of the OPTIONS window, click the CALENDAR OPTIONS button. At the bottom of the CALENDAR OPTIONS window, either UNCHECK the ENABLE ALTERNATE CALENDAR checkbox, or make sure that the correct option is selected for your need. Let us know if this fixes it. - Teky |

Ok, ok...dont get mad at me for asking this, but...
Did you buy this copy of Office 2k3? You can be honest with me...I wont tell anyone. Did you go to www.officeupdate.com and download all of the updates for your system? It would actually surprise me if that fixes your problem, but you should update it anyway, just to make sure. If that doesn't work, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Office Suite? Best of luck, Teky |
