sampling audio from video
I did a search, and nothing remotely close to what I was looking for popped up. So here's my question - I've been fooling around with some audio editing programs, (Adobe Audition & FL 4) - I'm an MC and my homies and I are trying to put some shit together, if not for actual performances than just for fun. I have a lot of friends who know audio production, but I'm trying to learn this shit on my own and I want to rip samples from DVDs and video clips.
Is there some kind of mega-site that has all the tutorials I need, or are there special programs, etc? Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to answer my question. |
The best way I would know how, is to have some sort of video editing software. Like imovie, import thr clip into the program and export it out as an audio file whatever your preference, then import it into your audio software....you might have some issues getting stuff of a dvd uunless you have a video card on your machine.

Few very good sites for doing all sorts of stuff with videos are doom9.org and videohelp.com. They should have something about what you're looking for.

play source on computer and record, as long as you have stereomix or wave highlighted depending on your soundcard you should be able to do a direct recording.
That's how you have so many people ripping off songs, you can record live cast while it's streaming. |
thanks everyone.
