help please

ive just installed nero 5.5 and the drivers for a new canon printer on both occasions all install instuructions are in a foriegn language. I have fixed nero so that it all applications are now in english, the canon software once instllalled has all instructions in english apart from the utillities section e.g. printer head allingment etc. . Does anyone know what is causing new software to be installed like this and does anyone know how to fix this.
my system is an athlon 2000+ running xp home edition with service pack 1 installed , 512mb of pc2100 ram:
thanks in advance
paul

phaulb, when you install most programs these days, there is a setting where you chose which language it should use. that is one reason why I ALWAYS do a custom install instead of the default or express installation. if you dont specify what language, most programs will default to the most common language for your geographical location (although why it would come up with anything other than English or Scottish for your location is beyond me.)

You can probably uninstall the software using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
