Saving Videos
Which would be the best file format to save a video in?
I only need it to be 320x240, so whichever format gets the best image at the lowest file size would be great.

Divx or MPEG-4 compression are the two best compresssion techniques that also give the best image-file size ratio.

Better yet, xVid. It's open source. http://www.xvid.org/

XViD is the answer
It has excellent quality and compression, and is one of the fastest codecs out there As far as resolution goes, you need to make it as big as you can. The smaller the video, the less the quality. With a good codec, the video resolution shouldn't matter too much (with the exception of extreme resolutions) |
