I don't know what browser you are using but when I click on a link like that in Firefox it will ask me if I want to log in to that site using those IDs. Try Firefox (and not just for that....)

If you're using IE, wasn't there a patch last year that made this harder to do? In firefox and Opera it should automatically work.

yeah glytch, it made IE unable to recognize that as a valid address, supposedly for security reasons. Someone posted a fix for it on TFP soon after it came out. Might still be able to find it with a search.

I think what you are looking for is here...
http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthr...ght=fix-ie.reg NOTE---follow the instructions to the letter... the name MUST be fix-ie.reg, because when you click on it, it will execute the update to your registery. this thread contains the info for both xp and older versions.. or, just do a search on fix-ie.reg... |

Anyway, my suggestion, resist updating IE with the registry update, and switch to Firefox as your "special interest" browser. It has a extension so that you can spoof from right in the browser too, so you can use user/pass combos and spoofs, all without changing anything. And, as a bonus, you can dump that huge virus that is actually called MSIE. Good Luck... Peace, Pirere

Firefox also has extensions to keep private data private. This link has more than enough I believe for your "use" (If I read your post correctly! )

There's a link for a windows registry fix at www.loginaccepted.com
A windows security update put a stop to auto logins awhile back.
