So what is your current desktop wallpaper? Do you stick with the pre-installed wallpapers, other third party or homemade? Let's see what you've got right now, or your favorite from the recent past. Here's mine, and the two I used before. All are homemade. (Mods, please feel free to move this if there is a more appropriate location, thanks)

Nothing better I think. And yes, I took that Zelda screencap while playing on my work PC. Damn machine won't run anything much more demanding than NES games, but still - I love my job. :D

I keep my "nephews" on the desktop: Big Island, Maui, Tahiti and Bora Bora.

LOL.. a funny wmv where the guy has a hidden camera setup to view the goin ons of the nights planned 'romance' unfortunately it doesn't turn out that way, he goes off to get something, she decides to change the music.. CD player happens to be near where the cam corder was kept lol.. she goes off her nut. Quite a good laugh :)

Moved to Tilted Computers. Tilted Artwork is for original art only. Now that it's in Tilted Computers, attachments are not possible.

On topic, you wouldn't happen to have that in 1600x1200, or perhaps 1280x960 would you coppertop? :)

The resolution above is the only one I have. I think it is 1152x864. Sorry.

Glytch, what are you running for XP that allows it to look like OSX? And how did you make the calander and temp appear like that? Is that just a window blind program of some type and Sysmetrix at work? If it is sysmetrix for the calander/temp, what skin is that?

Sorry if my desktop inconveniences you guys or offends anyone. Personally, I love the female form and I see this as art. It's not like she's getting banged by 3 guys or something.

labob, what theme are you using? Both the calendar/system specs and the taskbar. Looks good.

Object desktop is the bar at the top with all of my quick launch things. The widgets are Kapsules (much like Konfabulator but free). I use a hacked together uxtheme.dll for the Windows skin, but you can do the same thing with StyleXP (I'm not a huge Windowblinds fan). I'll post a cap of my new desktop as the previous one got nuked. Anyone know of a better place for image hosting?

Here's the new one. I changed around just a few things, and opted for a different Kapsules weather and date widget, as these give more info.

Love the wallpaper, junglistic and ninety09. Very different styles, but they both work well.

I've lost all of my good wallpapers, at the moment its just a black one. I'm looking for a good site for them now I like dark, abstract or 3d things if anyone has a good suggestion that's not DeviantArt that would be sweet.

Alas, my favorite desktop image is nowhere to be found at this moment. It is a picture I took of my cat (named "Evil") who perished of feline leukemia [sic?] a few years ago.

He was hanging from the ceiling fan in my apartment by one paw, while the fan was running.

It was one of the most hilarious pictures I've ever taken/seen.

It's actually ObjectDock. The background is just a default (white) one with the opacity turned down. Nothing fancy :)

FloydianOne, What program do you use that displays the transparent calander? I've seen several people with the calanders with the "Red circle" around the current date. What program does this?
Same goes for the weather. What program does that?
I assume the Mac style Doc at the top is object dock....

The calendar program is called Rainlender ( www.iki.fi/rainy ).

thanks pragma, that program is so neat. I love it already and i've only had it installed for like 10 mins.

Like Pragma pointed out, the calendar is Rainlender and the weather and drive info are Kapsules widgets. Yay for another Kapsules user!
