Screen capture for Windows Media Player

Can someone recommend one that will screen capture a file being played on WMP or a dvd player? When I use Screenhunter on a mpg being played on WMP, it captures a black screen. Thanks.

use the windows movie maker and it will work
btw, it should already be on your pc, if you have XP. go to start > program files > accessories and you should see it there

Or....

You can go to the performance tab under options and take the slider all the way to the left and then take your screenshots. It solves that black screen capture crap.

The movie won't go full screen (or at least they don't for me,) but that wasn't an issue as far as I was concerned.

Crazy

While watching video in WMP, you can press ctrl+I, and it'll come up with a save dialog, to save the screenshot of what was playing.

try tuning off video acceleration:
tools/options/performance/turn off video acceleration

then take the snapshot.

Thanks for the advice on fixing the black screen in a capture. It worked well for me.
