iTunes links (Mac)
Heya,
I recently did a complete wipe and reinstall of OS X. Everything is well, but I have lost the little code snippets or modifications I did on the previous system. One that I used frequently dealt with the iTunes links on songs. When you click on them, they take you to the apple music store's offering of that particular artist, or something. I actually never used it for its intended purpose. See the picture below, in case you don't know what I'm talking about. http://home.comcast.net/~amst9421/ws...Tuneslinks.jpg Anywho, I modified the links so they don't take you to the store, but to a particular place in your library. For example, clicking on a link by Belle & Sebastian would display all of my Belle and Sebastian songs. Clicking on an album link then displays only that album. I have no idea how to change the current iTunes store links to what I previously had. I think I read about this 'tip' in MacWorld or online somewhere. It probably wasn't too complex; I become nervous around Terminal. However, I'm hoping a Mac user here has done this, read about it, or knows where I can find this tip again. Google was no help, probably because I didn't know quite what to search for. :( If anyone here can decrypt my disjointed language and knows how to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
Hmmm, I know what you are talking about, but I can't find it either. I think you can hold down the option key while clicking to make it do what you want, but that's a bit annoying. I'll try to post back later if I remember.
