Where is the best place to buy a cheap, working case?
I was just wondering because I was stupid enough to buy a socket 7 processor and a motherboard off of eBay. I have a couple other spare parts laying around, so I guess I can put together a cheap old computer for a friend, but I dont want to spend $40 on a new case for a POS computer. |
Well, since you bought the other stuff at ebay, why not try there too?

Because a case is anywhere from $10 to $40 and the shipping is always jacked up.

damn too bad you did not post his the weekend after thanksgiving, newegg was selling a few cases for 9.99 with free shipping.

Yeah you should hit up the bargain basements online. Try pricewatch; you can usually find a chassis with power supply, for around $25 after shipping.
