General Firefox thread
 

I've seen a few other threads, but most pertain to specific Firefox issues. I'm starting this one just to brag on the browser.

I've had it on my PC for over a year, but it wasn't until 1.0 that I made it mine full time and started using extensions. I can honestly say F1.0 is the best browser I've ever used.

Part of what I like about Firefox is that I've made it my own. I've got all buttons and toolbars set up the way I like, got my fav extensions plugged in, etc.

If ya ain't usin' it, get it!

Yeah I have to agree. Firefox all the way! It's not perfect yet, but it's head and shoulders above the other offerings out there. I've been using it since 0.6...

I'm very happy that Firefox has appeared; Mozilla was simply too bloated to be useful for me (I use Linux on my desktop, so Mozilla was the "default")

It's funny, I was a Mozilla holdout for a long time. Then I put Firefox on my laptop, just to check it out. At first I didn't see much difference, but over time I found myself in Mozilla reaching more and more for features that weren't there. When Firefox when 1.0, I finally gave in and installed it on my main machine. I still like Mozilla, but the interface just feels very clunky compared to Firefox.
