Gmail security hole
Just read this on the register - thought any gmail users might be interested to know:
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/10/29/gmail_vuln/ I'm happy to say my gmail box has nothing of any serious importance, so I'm not too worried - but I guess you use beta email system, this is what can happen.

Yeah, it sucks alright but as posted, it is a beta system and you cannot assume it will be fully functional/secure. Lets just hope they fix it soon.

Cool. Any info when the stupid 30 meg attachment limit is gonna be lifted?
I'd love to be uploading 700 meg files to my gmail account--though it would take a night if gmail could take my full, monsterous 20kb/s upload speed |
