This particular asshole decided to install Party Poker on my comp cause he fuckin felt like it! Now its screwed up my IE toolbar, moved everything to add this button for damn Party Poker. Ive uninstalled PP, and pulled it out of my registry, but its still puttin in the extra button... Any help? |
did you try hijack this? it has worked for me... careful with it.
Go to view-toolbars-customize. Then delete it.
Dont have any customize option... Btw, its also showin up under the tools rollout.
Not sure what your talking about Animal. |
Right click on tool bar, then click on Customize
Still nothing thats removed it...
Check out add remove programs in the control panel. Remove anything that is related to search engines or toolbars. It most likely installed another app that is responsible for the toolbar.
Also after you uninstall anything spyware-related, try running ad-aware or spybot in safe mode (f8 on startup, and select it from the boot menu). If you run windows only with minimal drivers, the process which is blocking you from getting rid of the spyware won't load.
Still using IE? Try FireFox (http://www.mozilla.org). You might just like it. |
look at the sticky's
You know If I had any friends that used my system I would make them use Knoppix and just reboot into windows when they left. Then they could fuck around as much as they want to online and I could just erase it, plus I could leave the drives unmounted so they couldn't dig around in my HDDs.

use firefox?
