E-mail Tip
If you're looking for a temporary e-mail address, try mailinator (www.mailinator.com). It's great for those sites that require e-mail authentication when signing up. Just use (e.g.) abcd@mailinator.com as your e-mail address and then go to mailinator.com and login using 'abcd' and retrieve your message. Cuts down on SPAM.

also great for sites that require email to login is www.bugmenot.com you can enter the name of a site and if there is one in the database it returns it.
there is also a firefox plugin which will fill in and submit the login form from the context menu. |
www.dodgeit.com is another temporary email service
