real media alternative player

want to play real media files, but absolutely detest real media, any ideas?

Real Alternative.

While you are at it, get QuickTime Alternative too.

Its Media Player Classic, and has special codecs that play all Real and Quicktime file types.

Get the Kazaa lite codec pack so that you can play real fi. . . . <buffering> . . . les and Quicktime with media player 9.

just to add to that then, WMP takes far more resources then MPC. I prefer my media players not having to think when starting....
