Converting WMV to MPEG?

Is there an easy program to use that will convert a WMV video to MPEG? I tried to use stoik but i cant figure that program out. I want to put WMV on a CD so i can watch it on my DVD player. does it have to be MPEG? i tried to play the WMV file but my DVD player doesnt recognize it.

thanks DB

DVD videos are MPEG-2 streams, but bundled in files called VOB files.

You might try www.videohelp.com

as long as your DVD player handles (S)VCD you can use Tmpgenc to convert to VCD and watch them. Check the links above for guides on conversion.
