Record Audio Onto My computer
I would like to use my microphone, hooked up to my computer, to record notes that I took on my little voice recorder.
I would then like to be able to save this audio file as something standard that could be played on a different computer if I were to send it out or distrbute my notes (i.e. wma file, mp3 file, etc). I only need to do this once so I have no desire to buy any software. Does anybody know of any freeware that will do this for Win XP Home? Thanks,

There is a sound recorder software in Windows XP home (at least on mine there is), inthe accessories/entertainment group. That will record sound into wav files.
