Questions on new Motorolla V400..
First and foremost, a question on trasnfering to and from the phone to my computer.
How does one go about transfering images and ringtones to and from the phone? Because I've got a picture on my computer I'd love to use as a background for it, but I have no idea how to transfer it over. Also, ringtones, I'm aware you can get ringtones online, but how does one transfer those to the phone also? Last thing, in my box, there was a plastic credit card sized thingy, that had 2 barcodes on it, and a cutout, that looks just like an SD card for a digital camera.. Any ideas what this is/was? Thanks for all the feedback! |

Munku, share any opinions on the V400, I just ordered mine from Ebay. How do you like it so far?

Oh and the credit card sized thing with the CD card, that is what is called the SIM card. Stores all your phonebook info and your coverage plan info.
You should have to take that card to a Cingular store to have it activated if it is not already activated. But that is definitely the SIM card, I have one in my current phone and when my V400 arrives all I have to do is put the SIM card in the V400.

I have the V400, I have had it for 6 months or so. I have mixed opinions on it. I just had to get a new one last week because it stopped sending/recieving text messages. It has been a great phone except the only way to connect it to the computer is to buy the software/cable from motorola. And I am a bit bitter because I lost my favorite background which was on the old phone. Other than that it gets awesome reception, sounds great, and takes decent pictures. If I could I'd love to get my hands on the new v600.
