Dubbing/Splitting videos
Is anyone familiar with doing this kinda stuff?
Im using virtualdub right now to try to split an 800 meg file into two so i can burn it on a cd. I cut the first half of it and then select divx5 compression. when i save the file it says the projected file size is 700 megs.. what am i doing wrong? please help! |
Most of the software needed to do this properly is quite expensive. Have a look at Adobe Premiere, decent but not that well respected by pros apparently. Most such programs work like an audio sequencer with multiple video "tracks". That'll handle dubbing and synching stuff up. Splitting I'm not so sure about... There may be cheaper, simpler programs out there though.
