Brand new pioneer 107 dvd burner not burning properly, please help.
 

I just installed my new pioneer 107 and tested it out with a couple blank cd's. I tried burning some mp3's onto the disc and everything worked fine until the end during the lead-out and an error message appeared; "Invalid field in parameter, Burn process failed..."

this occured both times i tried and the computer fails to recognize the disc in the drive afterwards. It does however play fine in a cd player.

The program I'm using is nero and I've never encountered this before with any of my cd burners.

Is anyone here familiar with these burners? I've read that they are highly recommended but i'm not sure if i've purchased a faulty one or maybe I have to use a different program.

I've got a 106 here, and it's indeed a nice line of burners.

what brand of DVDs are you using? Perhaps the firmware of the pioneer doesn't work with your specific brand, which is quite common.
