Need to use computer screen for vcr/ps2/other things
Can anyone recomend some kind of adapter to turn my laptop from computer to "tv". As in I need to use it to display the images and sound my VCR and PS2 send out. They both have a red/white/yellow wire set up! Thanks!

To begin with, it's going to depend on whether or not you have a USB 2.0 or Firewire port on your laptop. If you do then you can get a USB or Firewire TV tuner card, or video capture card. If you don't have either one, or just have USB 1.1 then you're going to need a PCMCIA adapter card.
This is an example of a USB model. Since you're using a VCR and PS2 you don't need a TV tuner, just a video in. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...100-112&depa=0 I've got an example of a PCMCIA version that was around $40, I'll post a link when I get back to my apartment.

Well I've searched everywhere, including my history folder, and I can't find the link for the $40 PCMCIA card. I know they exist, because I saw them but I can't find the website again. I'll keep looking for the website though.
As far as I know they don't make video inputs for USB 1.1 due to bandwidth restrictions. You just can't get good quality.
