What type of audio? WMA? MP3? RA?
The problem with streaming audio is that most protocols like MMS and RSTP are pretty damn obscure. If it's a stream in windows media format, you can probably only play it on WMP 9 and you certainly can't save it. Likewise for realaudio. That means you're SOL if you want to archive streams or put them on a portable audio player or something. Luckily, there are programs out there which act like download managers for streams. What you need are four nifty little programs. Streambox VCR. This sucker will download just about any stream you can throw at it. Net Transport. HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, MMS, RSTP, you name it, this baby does it. URL Snooper. This will help you find the URL's of those elusive streams. And finally.....Streambox Ripper. This is just a quick and dirty wav, wma, rm, etc -> mp3 converter. There are tons of other ones but this is pretty hassle free.
