Windows XP Picture Viewer
Does anybody know how to override the default Windows XP Picture Viewer? I've got ACDSee on my computer and have it associated with all my image files under the File Types tab, yet whenever I double-click an image, it opens with the Windows XP Picture Viewer.

I'm not 100% sure that this will work (I don't want to experiment with changing my settings coz I actually *like* the picture viewer) but:
Right-click on an image like a .jpg, choose Open With > Choose Program, choose ACDSee, then check Always use the selected program to open this kind of file Hope that works for ya! |

You can also go into any folder and go to Tools>Folder Options then click on the File Types tab. From there you can associate any file type with the program you wish to use.
Just click on the file type, then click on the Change button, select the program you wish to use, make sure that the "Always use the selected program to open this type of file" box is selected, then hit OK.
