Is anyone else annoyed by double spacing in code blocks!?
 

Anyone who has ever written example code on this (new) forum might have noticed that their code is double spaced. Does this annoy anyone? It most certainly bothers me and I would very much like this behaviour changed. I have tried to suggest this on Tilted Suggestions but no one has responded. I've been, pretty much, ignored.

However, if we all complained about it, I'm sure the mods will get the message that this bothers us. After all, if we were vocal enough to get our own forum, surely we can get this problem fixed, right?

So, what do you all say? Does this bother you?

Edit: Oh now I got it. I thought you guys were talking about the font shits when writing your post but yeah you're right it is fuckin annoying.

Yeah, that bugs me. But I guess I can just use the extra spaces for comments. ;)

They are converting both CR and LFs into <br>s. =)

It's no theory, I can demonstrate it!

Between the first line and the second is a line feed, whereas between the second and third is a carriage return.

The fact that quote blocks don't have this property shows that they've solved this problem. Now all they have to do is know the problem exists!
