Do companies ever announce some of their trade show offerings before the show, but wait 'til the actual show to unveil others?

The reason I ask is because Fujitsu has announced a bunch of its goodies on its website, but I've heard rumors that they'll also be announcing the next version of their P1xxx subnotebook there. Does that ever happen?

Sometimes companies will announce what they're showing, to drum up interest in going to the show & seeing the promised goodies.

Yes, they do often wait to unveil their best stuff. Often a lot of companies will drop hints as to what/if anything else is going to be unveiled such as addressing rumors and such ahead of time as well.
