deleting the first part of a filename

ok i just downloaded a ton of files... and their all named
0001_-_rest_of_filename.txt
all the way to
1369_-_whatever.txt

i want to get rid of the numbers and the _-_ so i can sort them alphabetically....

anybody know a way to get rid of the first 7 characters in a filename?

For mass-renaming I use a freeware util called renamer.

Does the job, does other renaming stuff, but still simple enough.
