my tool bar is gone...help please

Yeah, how it disappeared I'll never know. My address bar, link bar...back buttons are all gone and I have no clue how to fix this. I'm sure it's simple but I can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

Go to the grey part where it says "Files, edit, etc." and right click. Then click on "standard buttons" and "address bar."

I failed to mention, that part is gone too. any other options?

spectre 02-22-2004 04:19 PM

Is there anything left at all?

Averett 02-22-2004 04:20 PM

I've done that before. Is there still a minimize/maximize button?

GuttersnipeXL 02-22-2004 04:22 PM

I can right click at the very top of my screen, to maximize, minimize, and close. The only thing left on tp of my screen is where it says...Tilted Forum Project - my tool bar is gone...please help.
That's pretty much what I'm working with...

spectre 02-22-2004 04:32 PM

Try it after pressing F11.

GuttersnipeXL 02-22-2004 04:37 PM

Ah! It worked. However, the bar with "file, edit, view, tools" is still missing. how do i get that back now?

Thanks for the tip spectre. I'm just going to have to keeep messing with it, until that other bar comes back.

What browser are you using?

If IE, i'd suggest a switch to Mozilla FireFox, it's a very solid browser that isn't vulnerable to many things IE is (famous) for.

It's also fast and has some great features.

This is not intended to be an ad, just a very satisfied user trying to help another user.

Oh yea, have you exited IE and restarted it (or your machine)?

That's what ended up fixing the problem...back to normal now.

Sometimes my browser does that... I have no idea why or how it gets to be like that, but I do suspect that it has something to do with the spyware or the occassional virus on my PC.

I hate it when it does happen though.
