What IRC Client do you use?
Personally, my client of choice is Xchat , using the "Pastor of Muppets" font... it just looks REALLY cool. Here's a screenshot...

mIRC. nothing special about it except I played with the colors and have it highlight when someone says my name.

X-Chat in linux and Trillian in Windows. I have no need for scripts so Trillian is just fine for me.

I use mIRC with a little reminder in the title bar that says "mIRC is sucking out your soul" I haven't really stayed on much since I put that there.

That's EPIC4 with Anduril on my Linux box, which I connect to from my Windows box with PuTTY, as you can see there. I don't really like EPIC4, though -- it's just the least crappy of all the available options to me. What I'd really like is a GUI client with EPIC4's windowing model (where it's possible to have multiple channels per window), and a less crappy scripting language like Perl or Ruby or something. (I've thought of trying to write one myself, but I really don't think I'm skilled enough.) |

on my linux desktop, i use xchat2, on my crappy little p166 laptop, I use irssi with the colorswap.pl script.
