Backing up Outlook 2003?
It's time for the good ol' reformat, methinks. Therefore -- is there a way to back up email and settings from Outlook 2003? There are thousands of archived emails inside it that I'd like to bring back once the OS is reinstalled.

You can backup your files to a .pst file. Click on File, then Import/Export. Follow the wizard to setup a .pst (or .ost) file, select your whole mailbox, and you'll have a file at the end you can move somewhere else while you reformat. When you're done, just do the Import/Export thing again, and Import back into the mailbox.
I'm not sure that this'll backup "settings", tho. SMTP server setup, rules that sort of thing may get lost.
