It's like christmass in february...

Man, I keep hearing about Sun discussing the possibily of removing the Vector. I swear to god I'll go to C++ or .Net if they do..I love Vectors and I completely hate the fucking arrays.

For starters, Vector is thread safe, Need I say more?

They have put in an "improved for loop", which acts like the foreach keyword in php and perl. This is a fantastic idea.

They have also added rather marvellous auto-boxing/unboxing (no more messing about with wrapper classes), and Generics (typed lists)

Overall, they have filled out a lot of people's wish lists (wish generics?)
