Error when browsing the web?
Sometimes I will be browsing websites and all my browsers will close and leave this log file on my desktop. Any you geniuses have a clue as to what my problem is?
I'm using internet explorer. Please don't tell me to change browsers. Thank you. http://munku.onestop.net/hs_err_pid2488.log |
I don't know, but it seems to mention Java Virtual Machine a lot which does NOT come on standard XP installations. I dug for it for a while on the Internet and finally found it a few months ago. It fixes tons of website problems, so maybe it'll fix yours too. Here's the link to my upload space:

That download isn't working :(

Are you sure? It's working fine for me. Refresh and try again, I just downloaded it and installed it.

I'm not gonna tell you to stop using IE. However, I can point you to a Sun Java forum where they've been discussing what looks to be a similar problem...
http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp...rt=0&trange=15 Doesn't look like they've found any sort of solution, but you should definitely try the JVM Lasereth offered. You might want to check out the site's your going to, see if they're using the tracking software that's talked about on the thread. It almost looks like they're trying to drop some event listener (spyware?) on your box...I could be overly paranoid. But definitly check your JVM version, and upgrade if possible. |
