Can't run installers
I just uninstalled my nforce drivers to update to the news ones. But for some reason after I run the installer, nothing happens after it extracts the files. Anyone know what's going on? I'm running WinXP Pro btw.

That's weird...I've had the same thing happen, but with Adobe Acrobat Reader. It would begin extracting the needed files, and then right before installation would start, it would simply disappear. It fixed after I formatted. :( Sorry for not being able to help, but I just wanted to say that it's happened on different programs too.

hrmm maybe you are running out of space on your hard drive?
do ctrl alt del and end task most of the unknown programs and try again now. |
is the installer actually a setup.exe or is it a compressed exe
(like a rar or zip, in excecutable form)? |
i'm guessing it is one of those that can do both.
it will extract the files first and then run the setup. (ooh btw, try this - do a ctrl alt del and chose to end task the setup. right when u do this, the installer might come back) i did it back in win98 |
try goin to microsoft.com and downloading an installer.. if u can install it
