strange keyboard proble_s
 

no joke the keyboard is screwed up. i was banging on it DURRING A GA_E AND I DONT HAVE THE USE OF A FEW KEYS NOW.. THEY OPEN RANDO_ (THE LETTER AFTER L) WINDOWS ON THE DESKTOP.

I KNOW THIS LOOKS AND SOUNDS STUPID, BUT CAN SO_EONE HELP?

I TRIED A DIFFERENT KB.. SAE RESULT :(

you might want to take it apart and clean it.

diff KB same result? did you try uh... rebooting your PC?

it sounds like your windows key is stuck down.

windows key + f = find (search window)

windows key +m = minimize

I must have held it down for too long to where it bound itself as "triggered" (or something like that)

I held it down for about 10 seconds and it's now fixed. I owe you one. Thanks

If I'm not mistaken (so you know for the future) that sounds like Sticky Keys, which can be found in Accessibility Options in the Control panel. I have all that junk disabled....

I don't know but it sure did suck. It must have taken me about 10 minutes to type that 1st message. Damn windows kept popping up on me, I even came across this thing called Windows Navigator which popped up. Windows started talking to me in this bad-robot voice. Supposedly it's for the visually impared... to help them setup Windows. <i>Creepy</i> :hmm:
