Internet Explorer Question
Ok so I recently uninstalled internet explorer using ieradicator. I then reinstalled Internet Explorer 5.5 and I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how to get IE to identify my pictures and documents and open them from my desk top. Also I was wondering how I get it to identify and manage all my AOL pages?? Since I uninstalled and then reinstalled I've notice Im gettin a few red x's on some of the pics. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

hmm uninstalling IE doesn't sound like very smart thing to do? isn't it a core part of windows, unless ur like using win95 or something. although you can remove the IE "component" from XP from add/remove progs.. i think only under sp1 though... meh...
and if u mean associate pictures like jpegs or whatever to open with IE, you can associate the filetypes by opening windows explorer, going to tools -> folder options, and goto file types tab. |
Check your internet "options" menu...you can select/deselect to view pictures/movies/sounds as they pop up on websites. Along with other features like auto picture resize.

Well, it sounds like you need to re-associate file types with IE.
Try this: Open My Computer Tools Folder Options File Types Now, look for the file extentions that you want to open with IE. Choose to open them with IE. You're set! -SF |
Thanks everyone for your help, what would I do with out my TFP family.
