Suggestions on a good 19-21" CRT?
I've been looking online for some good deals on a nice sized CRT. Lately I've been looking at the ViewSonic 19" (18.0" viewable) A90f+ UltraBrite. The lowest price I've found is about $210 which includes shipping. Do any of you guys have suggestions or comments on the Viewsonic or any other 19-21" CRT?

I've always heard that ViewSonic is the best. $120 sounds good; I paid $170 for my 17" a few years ago. :)

The best looking monitors are usually the Sony Trinitron CRTs, but they cost about a hojillion dollars.
http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTE...u_Displays_CRT Hitachis are really nice too, but slightly less than the Sonys. http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...134-009&depa=1 My friend has this 19" Flat hitachi and it looks like fucking God's monitor, although I've never been in the presence of a high-dollar Sony. I've had a 19" KDS for ~3 years now and it's never given me a problem. They're not a very well known brand but have great value. |
A local computer show had over a dozen used Dell trinitron 21 inch CRTs for sale this last weekend for $140 to $175. I really should have bought one. Well, hopefully the guy has more at next months show.

I also have a KDS Xflat and it's great. Have had it for about a year and no problems at all.
