lock computer Win XP
is there a way to "lock computer" on windows XP like there was with 2000?
|
winkey +L should switch you to the logon screen, if user switching is on
|
sweet thanks :D
|
You can also setup a screensaver that locks the computer. I do this so that my computer locks itself after 10 minutes of non-use.

There is a way to actually lock the Windows XP in Windows 2000 Style, but you have to turn off fast user switching. Then Winkey+L will lock the computer, and you'll have to have your password or an Admin pass to get back on.

I Make a shortcut on my desktop and give it this target
%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation You can use this command in the run box too. |
thanks all...
