Mandrake 9.2 + Radeon issue
Hi, it's me again. I've successfully installed Mandrake 9.2 alongside WinXP, but now I seem to have a bit of a problem. Mandrake doesn't recognise my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, so I am stuck at the command line interface. It just won't run Gnome or any of the other graphical interfaces.
From what I've gathered, it seems that nearly everyone trying to use Mandrake 9.2 on a Radeon card is having this problem. I just haven't found a solution yet. At the very least I'd like to be able to reach my video settings from the command line - yet I don't even know the command for that ![]()

Im running a Radeon 8500 without any problems...
That is weird. One would think that it would at least work in 2D and allow you into X...
