20 inch IMac
 

It seems most here are WIN users but I'm wondering if anyone has laid eyes on the 20 inch IMac yet?

It looks yummy in the ads, and just in time for Christmas......

I'm a die-hard Mac user but have a little problem with the 20" iMac. Even though the G4 is a good chip and still quite useful, that screen is going to be desirable longer than the CPU. Eventually you'll be throwing away a nice LCD because it's slaved to an old computer.

I've got one of the origional 700 Mhz Combo drive ones, and while I love it, my next purchase probably won't be an iMac. I make this one WORK for it's supper, and I'd like something with a bit more beef. *glances over @ juans Dual gig tower* Of course, this'ns *thinks* 2 years old, and has to last at least another one? if you bought a home end-user, websurfing, wordprocessing box, the 20" would probably treat you spectacularly.

Thanks guys. That's a really interesting point bodypainter, and I hadn't thought of it.

Yeah i have one of the older 700Mhz models. I really wish they'd pair it with the G5 and then we'd be set! :)
