How do you clean laptop screen?
What is the best way to clean a laptop screen? What should I use that won't damage it?
Thanks |
using Isopropyl Alcohol and a lint free cloth is what i have always used. I get little prep pads from the hospital where my wofe works and keep them and a lint free cloth in my laptop bag.

I use one of those antistatic cloths (bought from ?) or the little bits of cloth they give you for cleaning your glasses.

Thanks, guys!!!

With some windex or alcohol and a cloth.

3M 675 Screen Cleaner
The best stuff I've ever used. |
I usually just clean my screens off with water. Cheap method.
Alcohol would probably work fine as long as you're careful. |
I use the alcohol wipes myself. They don't seem to leave any residue.

Kensington sells some non-abrasive lint free cloths and spray to clean laptop screens. They work well as far as I can tell and will not scratch your screen.

Get a small cup.
1/4 White Vinegar 3/4 Water Soft Cloth Wipe away. |
Kensington Screen Guardian wipes work quite well for me. They're soft cloth with some denatured alcohol on them, wipes clean and doesn't streak.

*never ever* use windex on a laptops display, probably most CRTS either.
its got ammonia in it which will take off the protective layer, even on the first use. theres a couple of windexes that dont contain it, windex vinegar and the orange cleaner, but all the rest do. |
