Linux & Edonkey
 

I am quit a noob on linux so i have managed to install red hat 9 to be my file server with samba for my nt network but i would know if there is a good edonkey client so i could download on the server ?

anyone can give me some advice which programm is best or how i can get it working ?

i need the make command right ?

You can download mldonkey from www.sourceforge.net and build it yourself, or if you want to save yourself a bit of pain you can download the rh9 binary from www.mldonkey.net

I'm not a huge fan of mldonkey - could be because I don't use the edonkey client in Windows eaither. I much prefer lmule, the Linux port of emule. http://lmule.sourceforge.net
