Aaron: #1: it's Mac. it's not an acronym, it's a shortened form of Macintosh. you're "marking yourself" as a newbie, right from the get-go. Now, that said, try here: http://www.pricewatch.com/ and hit up places like MacMall.com and maybe google.

www.everymac.com has some links to refurbed Mac sites and a really awesome "museum" of past models. A recent issue of MacWorld has an ad for some accounting software. Throughout the ad they use the term MAC in reference to the Macintosh. Makes me scratch my head in wonder. How annoying would this be: Microsoft WINDOWS XP.

MAN, sorry I mean Man, HAHA you guys are some uber-nerds. Sorry, I really didn't think about whether putting Mac or MAC would be an issue here. Anyways, yeah Im finding out more and more everyday that you just have to pay full price for anything by Apple.

Aaron: you can find some deals, but not usually for the new stuff... why? well, because everyone wants it, and is WILLING to pay full price.
The acronym comment was mostly 'cuz it looks REALLY weird... capitals mean shouting or extra emphasis a lot, so it reads "I'm looking for any good MAC!!!! sites..." in my head, and i have to wonder why you're yelling till I figure it out btw: I prefer the term "geek" to "nerd" |

Macs ans MACS are both worth the extra initial outlay. How much is your time worth? I only reformat or reboot when i feel like it. The whole "XP decay" issue and watching over updates like a hawk makes PC's expensive.
BTW-I'm a little biased.. |
