cable colors, specificly audio cables
 

i am the kind of jurry riging, waht i need to do is convert a .25 inch jack into aux cd in (one more audio in to my system). basicly my question is what are each of the colors on the auxilary CD in cable,

there are 3 colors:

white
red
black


i know that black is usaly ground and i am assuming this, is red left and white right, or vice versa.

Yep black is a ground for shielding. Red is always the right channel, I remember it because they both start with R.
