MP3 Library software
Currently I use Cakewalk Pyro... I love the software because it shows all ID3 tags, allows easy converting, moving, renaming etc of mp3 files in my library.
does anyone have any good recommendations as to some other (hopefully free/open source) software that is great at managing a large MP3 library? |
Winamp 2x is a good mp3 player.

Not really looking for a player... I use winamp already. I want some thing that can help manage the files...

I use Tag & Rename for changing tag info and dbpowerAmp for MP3 playing. It's miles ahead of WinAmp.

Hey that looks cool, I'm going to try that!

I've always used his beta versions since they're most up to date and have never had any problems at all. All his software is very very good and constantly updated. http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=2045 |

I use MusicMatch 7.2 (7,5-8.0 suck ass). MM7.2 has a super-easy-to-navigate library, and offers you tons of control over tag info. You can also rip MP3s at high bit rates for playback, then also convert them to smaller file size for portable players.
