I use pdf995... its very easy to use, once installed you just it print in any aplication and then select pdf995 as the print device....

notepad is just fine and dandy.
Most companies have online application systems anyways and would just prefer ASCII resumes. When I see a fancy smancy resume I immediately get turned off.
