OK i tries to change my winxp boot screen using the manual change boot.ini file, cause i cant find a program, but anyway, it loads the boot screen and even gets into windows,

but about 5 seconds later my computer restarts

If I use the old boot screen everythings cool, all i changed was the boot screen so i cant understand, any suggestions?

Not sure how to fix your problem, but here's a program that'll change your boot screen. They have a ton of boot screens to choose from on the site.

BootXP

I use the program and have no problems. If you use XP and try to install SP1 while using BootXP it won't install. You'll have to uninstall the program to install SP1.

but it costs money, i was hoping for a free option, espeicially when i know what to do, and i might not fix my problem
