Windows ME Safe Mode
 

My computer starts up in safe mode every time I turn it on. (Poor reolution, programs don't work, mouse doesn't work) I have no idea how to fix this. I tried to do it manually by hitting F8 during boot up and trying to boot up normally and it still goes into safe mode. I also tried to go to my display settings in the control pannel and when I did that my computer froze/shutdown. Can anyone help me out with a sloution to this never before seen problem?

there's a discussion here of someone who is having the same problem as you. Provideing the link instead of the instructions because there are a couple different fixes, it seems.

sorry dude but winME is a bad OS, if you got the money go to win2k or xp

I totally agree, dump arguably the worst OS ever, Windows ME. ME came preinstalled on a computer I once bought and it gave me nothing but crap. I would use Win 98SE, XP, or 2000 instead.
