Hi! I want to download OpenGL so that I can have it on backup with all my other system critical apps but am finding it difficult to find. I know OpenGL 1.1 comes standard with most MS OS's and that apps that require OpenGL 1.x will most likely be bundled with them but I still would like a standalone copy for security. I've had a little look around the net and cannot seem to find it downloadable. Preferably I'd want OpenGL 1.4.

So if anyone can help it'd be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

OpenGL v1.1 runtime files are included with Windows or you can D/L them from http://www.opengl.org There isn't a standalone runtime for v1.2 and up, the drivers for them are supplied by your video cards manufacturer. The current drivers for your video card includes the latest OpenGL drivers.

www.glsetup.com also has them.

i may be mistaken but if you have windows xp open gl is not included. you need to get opengl support from you vid card oem.

opengl has been included since osrb possibly c iirc, if you want a backup of the latest version of opengl, just download the video card drivers.

glsetup is dead, and probably has waaay old drivers.
